so i'm totally stopping after this

Yea, I know I make declarations such as this ALL THE TIME but considering I really wanna be able to pay them all off at the end of this month as well as keep up with my study loan payments and handbag payments, I have to make sure I follow through.

Anyways, these purchases were more of me stocking up while its cheap rather than getting anything new per se. Ok, let me be honest cos if there's any time and place to be honest it's going to be on this semi-anon blog that I have - I was stocking up on ONE thing, the other two items in my order are just new whimsies.

Moving on with the post, as usual there was some awesome deal I had to take advantage of on drugstore.com and the short of it is it cost me $53.78. I present my 'haul' as below:

First and foremost of all, I was looking for replacement brush heads for my Clarisonic (which is MY beauty tool du jour, can't express how much I love, love, love it!) and it so happened they were going for a really great bargain on drugstore.com. This is after I did my usual Google Shopping gig and finding that the best deal was from my favourite drugstore refuge - though Clarisonic is more a high-end brand than a drugstore brand but anywho.....I got the pack-of-2 CLARISONIC Replacement Brush Head for Sensitive Skin that usually retails for 40 bucks at the very pleasing price of $25.60! I have been diligently using the Clarisonic twice a day as part of my skincare routine and considering the wear and tear of daily use and the instructions to replace brush heads every 3/4 months, I figured it was the right time to be looking into some spare heads.

Then I decided to get myself the ecoTools brow and lash groomer. I had been eyeing this brand for some time, debating to go for this or the Sonia Kashuk for Target range of eco makeup tools but on a recent trip to Homeland, I found a local beauty store that carried the line and ended up purchasing the ecoTools 5 piece mini brush set to use with my Jane Iredale mineral foundation compact. I loved the set I got - the bristles are synthetic but oh so soft! - and since my really, really old (we're talking turn of the millenium old!) plastic Lancome brow and lash brush, short anecdote - received as a free gift when I bought my first high-end fragrance Oui, already had a gaping hole where it was missing more than a few teeth, I figured it was a good time as ever to invest in a new groomer. And there just so happened to be a special sale on ecoTools products on drugstore.com. I got the brush for the great deal price of $3.19. Hey, since I'm replacing an old, worn out lash and brow groomer, I believe this qualifies as a 'restock' of sorts :D

Last paid item on the list is the RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum. This was a non-necessity, just a random buy. I wasn't in the market for one but as I am wont to do, I was trying to qualify for free shipping. Usually this product would cost an arm and a leg for this teeny tube but drugstore.com had a price reduction special going on so I figured why not. With the special discount and on top of my member promo code I got this serum for $29.99. Of course, I read the reviews first before proceeding and it appears primarily excellent. I was born with sparse-ish brows and my lashes though not stunted but well, which girl wouldn't like more luscious lashes? If this product does what it says it does, I'll be glad I decided to throw caution to the wind (hehe, this seems like a funny saying to me somehow) and just go for it. If it doesn't do anything, then I would not feel the burn so much since I didn't pay the full $49.99 for it :)

Other stuff I got were just some free samples - a Fekkai Glossing Shampoo/Glossing Conditioner Dual Sachet, a de-luxe SaVON French Milled Soap, a Sue Devitt MicroQuatic Pro-Juvenation Reparative Eye Cream, a Stila Eyeshadow Kitten Complimentary Sample and a complimentary sample vial of Jack Black Eau de Parfum.
